The purpose:
Dear God is not just for you to look good but to provide you truth and strength through the pain. This will include Real life stories with the word of Jesus to one, help you heal and two, help you see you are not alone in everything you’re going through.
About me and the start of the brand:
I am a 21 year old girl who loves Jesus. My Lord has given me the strength through my testimony to create a brand to help people with similar stories. As they wear the clothing it will be a sign of strength and comfort instead of letting it hold you back. My story starts at 11 years old when I was sexually assaulted for the first time. This assault wasn’t a one time thing by my abuser nor was he the only one to do it. At that time I was so scared to speak up due to multiple reasons and the pain didn’t become a problem till Covid. I cried almost everyday and couldn’t use dance as an escape anymore so it forced me to turn to the Lord. That lasted a while but I was still Luke warm. Went to college got abused again but this time it drove me to alcohol. It took me to lose everything to show me I didnt need anything In Christ Jesus! It took me to lose everything to turn to the only thing that could save me, which is Jesus Christ! I spent college writing in my journal and the start was always dear God. Through vulnerability and confessing my sins I’ve gotten to a point where I’m healed. Now just because you are healed doesn’t mean a few things won’t trigger you or hurt you sometimes because the enemy will be trying his hardest. Being healed is you knowing you are okay and this will not break you because Jesus Christ is your lord and savior. For that all I could say is thank you.
